Responsibilities

Perform and oversee structural analysis, design, and detailing on a variety of commercial & institutional building projects

Collaborate with the architect, owner, and contractor to provide a well-coordinated and high-quality set of structural drawings

Lead and manage (or work closely with) a team of engineers, designers, and drafters to execute structural designs

Meet with the project team to ensure effective communication flow during design

Interface with the contractor during construction to ensure positive results with minimum complications

Manage profitably of projects and maintain a working relationship with clients

Actively interact with new and existing clients and provide consultation on architectural practices to help win new structural projects

Work closely with the General Manager and assist in structural department production management
