Responsibilities
Manage key phases of complex commercial litigation, including written and document discovery
Conduct legal research and draft clear, persuasive memoranda, pleadings, and both dispositive and non-dispositive motions
Take and defend depositions and assist with witness preparation
Support all aspects of trial preparation and strategy in coordination with partners
Collaborate with team members on cross-border matters, corporate disputes, shareholder and derivative actions, fraud cases, and other sophisticated commercial litigation
Qualification
Required
Admission to the bar in the state of your primary office (Massachusetts or New York)
4th to 5th year litigation experience at a law firm or through clerkships, handling complex commercial cases
Hands-on experience with discovery, drafting and arguing motions, depositions, and trial preparation
Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong analytical ability
Proven ability to manage case responsibilities independently and collaboratively with partners
Preferred
Experience on both plaintiff and defense sides of commercial litigation
Background with cross-border disputes and multi-jurisdictional matters
Experience working across different litigation specialties beyond core commercial work
