Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examination
Measure vital signs
Track patient information
Document in the medical record
Assist with in-office procedures and testing
Administer medications
Provide patient and caregiver education
Provide administrative support and work closely with doctors and nurses

Qualification

Medical Assistant credentialsComputer proficiencyEnglish proficiencyHigh School diplomaLong term employment

Required

High School diploma or GED required
Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English
Proficiency in the use of computer programs (e.g. web-based training platforms, general computer proficiency)
Available to work full-time, Monday through Friday (32 - 40 hours per week)
Continued employment after intern program as a long term Medical Assistant with IHA
