Responsibilities

Independently draft, review, and negotiate complex master subscription agreements with enterprise customers and work closely with our Sales organization to close revenue deals
Work with our Deal Desk, Compliance, Security, Product and other stakeholders across the company to ensure alignment between our contracts, products and our operations
Draft, review, and negotiate other agreements, such as various vendor agreements, infrastructure agreements, and channel partner agreements
Develop and optimize contract playbooks, clause libraries and playbooks to share knowledge and scale the Commercial Legal team

Required

BA/BS and JD from respected institutions, member of the California, New York or other applicable bar in good standing
4+ years of relevant legal experience working in a law firm and in-house legal department, with at least 2 years of in-house experience focused on revenue-generating commercial transactions
Experience drafting and negotiating to successful and timely closure enterprise cloud, infrastructure and SaaS sales agreements
Experience supporting a sales organization and keeping pace with a steady volume of commercial transactions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Demonstrated ability to acquire deep product knowledge in the SaaS space
Ability to work independently and comfortable working with colleagues in different offices and locations
Strong 'plain English' written and verbal communication skills, excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

Preferred

Experience supporting channel sales for enterprise SaaS, especially negotiating referral, reseller and MSP agreements
Experience negotiating commercial transactions with companies in AI or regulated industries (e.g. government contracting, financial services, healthcare)
Curiosity about how the internet really works and enthusiasm for technology
