Responsibilities
Own features end-to-end - from database schema to React UI to deployment
Build data pipelines that process financial and advertising data from dozens of integrations
Design and consume APIs (internal services, payment processors, ad platforms, accounting tools)
Write code that's tested, documented, and built to last
Pair with our senior engineers on architecture decisions
Qualification
Required
2+ years of professional software experience (or equivalent depth from internships/projects)
Completed Financial Engineering or a closely related quantitative program (Montana State University Graduates preferred)
Strong fundamentals in a typed language - Java, TypeScript, C#, or similar
Experience building web apps with React
Comfort working with APIs: designing them, consuming them, debugging auth flows
Clear communication - you can explain technical tradeoffs to non-engineers
Genuine curiosity about how businesses work (you'll learn a lot about finance and operations here)
Preferred
Experience with financial data, AI, analytics, or data visualization
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP)
You've worked at an early-stage company before
