They are seeking a motivated Production Assistant to support newsroom and studio operations, gaining hands-on experience in television production while collaborating with producers and technical staff to ensure successful broadcasts.

Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of studio production, including camera operation, teleprompter, floor direction, and audio/lighting support

Prepare and maintain studio sets and equipment before and after broadcasts

Operate production equipment during live and recorded newscasts

Collaborate with producers and directors to execute rundowns accurately and on time

Assist with newsroom tasks, including script organization, graphics coordination, and show timing

Ensure smooth communication between the control room, studio, and newsroom staff

Support field crews and special projects as needed

Maintain professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Required

Strong interest in television production and journalism

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred

Basic understanding of production equipment and software (preferred but not required training provided)

Previous broadcasting or media experience is a plus but not required
