Responsibilities
Provide advice and counsel to internal company stakeholders on the full gamut of employment-related legal issues, such as employee relations, wage & hour, discrimination, other employment-related legal claims, investigations, recruiting/hiring decisions
Collaboration with/delegation to outside counsel on EEOC, immigration, and benefits matters
Some review of employment-related aspects of company contracts might also be needed
A business and risk mitigation mindset is key, as well as the ability to distill concepts and next steps into actionable and succinct writing
Qualification
Required
6-7 years of experience, ideally in both law firm and in-house settings
License to practice law in any US jurisdiction, active and in good standing
Ability to provide advice and counsel to internal company stakeholders on employment-related legal issues
Collaboration with/delegation to outside counsel on EEOC, immigration, and benefits matters
Some review of employment-related aspects of company contracts might also be needed
A business and risk mitigation mindset
Ability to distill concepts and next steps into actionable and succinct writing
