Responsibilities

Work on survey crew to complete surveys such as topographic, boundary, subdivision, ALTA, construction layout, and as-built surveys

Collect quality survey data

Oversee the operation and maintenance of survey equipment

Operate survey instruments including level, robotic total stations with electronic data collectors

Takes accurate and clear notes and note reduction

Reads and understands plans and specifications

Adherence to company safety policies along with use of supplied personal protective equipment, (PPE)

Be a positive representative of the company and its core value

Required

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel out of town occasionally for projects

No experience necessary

Able to gain a working knowledge of Robotic Total Stations, and GPS

Able to operate and train others in the use of survey equipment including conventional and electronic instruments and computers (hardware and software)

Possess good interpersonal skills, and effective written and oral communication skills
