Randstad is partnering with a leader in the manufacturing and logistics space to identify a Senior Accountant for a critical 4-to-8-week engagement. The role involves owning the month-end close, improving account reconciliations, and driving efficiencies within Microsoft Dynamics GP.

Responsibilities

Leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in accordance with GAAP

Journal entry preparation, balance sheet analysis, and intercompany recording across multiple business units

Using your "tech-forward" mindset to create checks and balances within files to drive departmental efficiency

Managing labor, material, and overhead rates; dissecting labor and material usage variances to partner with operations

Reconciling WIP, Finished Goods, and managing SLOB (Slow-moving and Obsolete) reserves

Ensuring Bill of Materials accuracy at the source

Qualification

Microsoft Dynamics GPGAAPAccounting experienceStreamlining processesComplex reconciliations

Required

5+ years of accounting experience preferably within a manufacturing environment

Location: Ability to work on-site 5 days a week in North Las Vegas

Preferred

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is a plus
