Responsibilities

Manages and directs the consistent implementation of projects, programs, products and services that will improve revenue and customer satisfaction though guiding and supporting the efforts of cross-functional, internal and external resource teams
Defines scope, establishes and monitors goals, prepares business cases presenting marketing and financial analyses to support recommendations to senior management to meet corporate objectives
Leverages the resources of the Marketing and corporate support groups, to implement projects, programs, products and services
Utilizes Continuous Improvement principles, methods and tools, as well as product development processes, in developing product and service specifications including description, market overview, competitive evaluation, financial justification, launch plan, internal communication and recommendation for implementation
Mentors, teaches and develops capabilities for new product sales, and services to account managers
Analyzes existing projects, programs, products and services through after action reviews and other effectiveness reviews to determine improvements or recommendations for expansion or phase-out
Fosters internal and external relationships; negotiates with external partners on Letters of Intent, Request for Proposals, Contracts, etc
Represents Manager at cross functional meetings
Represents DTE Energy with vendors and at industry associations
Meets with customers or customer groups
Develops and presents formal and informal presentations to Senior Management

Required

Bachelor's degree
Seven years of experience in any of the following areas: product development, business line evaluation/management, marketing, and/or financial analysis/forecasting, inclusive of three years leadership experience in formal supervisory or project/program lead role

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related technical field
Master's degree in Business, Engineering or related technical field
Experience in any of the following: sales and business development experience, direct business to business experience, and/or business to consumer experience
Must complete Continuous Improvement Yellow Belt certification within six (6) months of selection
May require FERC gas training
Computer skills including MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and project management software
Excellent knowledge of analytical techniques, financial statement preparation, project management, problem solving, measurement systems, performance monitoring and team leadership
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people at all levels inside and outside the company
Ability to foster a continuous learning environment through personal commitment to knowledge growth
Leadership ability to take complex business lines, products or services from concept to full implementation
Ability to work with a variety of people and groups to achieve effective and efficient results
