Responsibilities

Partner across Agile teams to design, build, test, deploy, and support end-to-end software solutions using modern full-stack technologies
Collaborate with engineers experienced in machine learning, distributed systems, and microservices to deliver scalable platforms
Develop applications using languages such as Java, Python, and Scala, leveraging open-source relational and NoSQL databases
Work with cloud-based data platforms and warehouses to support analytics and data-driven use cases
Stay current with emerging technologies, contribute to engineering communities, and mentor peers
Collaborate closely with product managers to deliver reliable, cloud-based solutions that create meaningful user impact
Write high-quality, well-tested code and participate in peer reviews to ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of professional application development experience (excluding internships)
1+ year of experience working with big data or large-scale data technologies

Preferred

5+ years of experience in software development using Python, Java, Scala, or SQL
2+ years of hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Experience with distributed data and processing technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, EMR, or similar tools)
Background in real-time data processing or streaming applications
Experience implementing NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
Hands-on experience with cloud data warehousing solutions like Redshift or Snowflake
Proficiency with UNIX/Linux environments, including shell scripting
Practical experience working within Agile engineering teams
