Engineering Program Manager — Custom Machine Integration

Responsibilities
Translate customer inputs into system-level requirements and close gaps in the data needed for design and assembly
Evaluate quotations, specifications, and contracts for technical feasibility and alignment
Build, maintain, and revise detailed Microsoft Project schedules; track changes and communicate updates with sales, engineering, supply chain, operations, and customers
Coordinate cross-project planning to balance priorities, resources, timelines, and scope
Lead engineering and manufacturing project/equipment engineers to meet milestones
Support manufacturing readiness for equipment buy-off and participate in acceptance testing when required
Continuously publish project status, resource utilization, and performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership
Interface daily with manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and planning to resolve execution issues
Recommend improvements to project and program management practices using lean and risk management principles
Deliver on scope within quality, cost, and delivery constraints under cross-functional direction from engineering and leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience with complex mechanical systems and PLC automation
Strength in project planning/analysis, risk evaluation and mitigation, and clear communication
Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft suite; comfortable in ERP environments
Skilled presenter and relationship builder with internal and external customers; able to coordinate multiple global efforts
Speaking, persuasion, and service orientation
Reading comprehension and active learning
Complex problem solving, coordination, and deductive reasoning
Continuous Improvement; SOP development and adherence
Machine building/assembly; mechanical design & engineering
Budgeting & forecasting; root cause analysis
