Responsibilities
Underwrite commercial real estate loans across bridge, fix-and-flip, construction, and transitional assets
Analyze borrower financials, guarantor strength, property cash flow, rent rolls, and exit strategies
Review appraisals, environmental reports, budgets, and third-party due diligence
Prepare credit memos and underwriting packages for internal approval
Work closely with originators, asset management, legal, and operations teams throughout the loan lifecycle
Support deal structuring, pricing, and risk mitigation strategies
Monitor pipeline activity and assist with post-closing credit requests and modifications
Qualification
Required
2–6+ years of commercial real estate underwriting or credit analysis experience
Experience underwriting short-term, non-bank, or private real estate debt
Strong understanding of collateral-based lending and risk assessment
Ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced lending environment
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or related field
