Director, Health Economics and Outcomes Research & Real-World Evidence

Responsibilities
Drive effective cross-functional collaboration and lead the development of US HEOR evidence generation strategies in alignment with medical and commercial priorities, including strategies supporting products focused on rare liver and biliary tract conditions
Provide input into Integrated Evidence Generation Plans to ensure US needs are represented
Lead the design, conduct, and publication of methodologically rigorous US HEOR studies and projects, in collaboration with internal and external researchers
Lead the development of materials, including AMCP dossiers, budget impact models, and value communication resources to support customer engagements
Lead the training of customer-facing teams, such as Field US HEOR, Value and Access, and field medical colleagues, on value communication resources to support customer engagements
Support meetings with key external customers through participation in meetings or presenting approved value communication resources to customers as needed
Provide input into clinical development programs and clinical trial protocols as needed
Track budgets and timelines and ensure appropriate processes are followed for internal approval and execution of US HEOR projects
Comply with all regulatory laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Ipsen
Stay informed on the latest methodological advances that expand and enhance HEOR research
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), including presenting studies at scientific conferences and/or in a field role
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams or initiatives, and collaborating effectively with internal teams, external partners, and vendors
Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and project management skills, with the ability to influence without authority, build relationships with key stakeholders, and develop realistic plans and recommendations
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment by remaining flexible, proactive, and possess strong attention to detail
Deep understanding of the US healthcare and payer landscape, including reimbursement systems, healthcare data assets, primary and secondary data collection, and health-system research capabilities
Significant experience in the approval and delivery of proactive and reactive medical and scientific communications
Track record of timely execution and completion of research and non-research deliverables
Ability to travel approximately 20–30% of the time
Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MS, MPH) in Health Services Research, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Pharmacy, or a related field is required
Fluent in English
Preferred
Prior experience working with rare disease populations is strongly preferred
Prior experience with product launches is desirable
