Responsibilities
Coordinate and support quality improvement initiatives across departments
Collect, analyze, and report data related to patient outcomes, incidents, audits, and compliance metrics
Monitor and track risk events, near misses, and adverse incidents; assist in root cause analyses and development of corrective actions along with submitting required state documentation
Ensure organizational readiness for accreditation and regulatory surveys (e.g., CMS, Joint Commission)
Assist in maintaining and updating the facility’s quality and risk management plans and policies
Participate in performance improvement teams and patient safety committees
Serve as a resource to department leaders on regulatory and compliance issues
Conduct or coordinate internal audits and investigations to identify potential risks
Maintain confidentiality and data integrity while managing sensitive reports and findings
Prepare and present quality dashboards and performance reports to leadership
Oversee employee education program

Qualification
Required
Registered nurse degree required
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and performance improvement methodologies
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
This position requires that the employee is able to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and visitors at the work site when responding to their medical and physical needs
Must provide verification of TST (tuberculin skin test) as required by state law and in accordance with company policy. TSTs will be administered at the work site if required
Preferred
2-3 years of experience in quality management, risk management, or healthcare compliance
Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools; experience with EHR and reporting systems preferred
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and/or Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) and/or Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
