They are seeking an IT Healthcare Consultant – Business Analyst who will act as a liaison between business and IT, ensuring that systems align with user needs while supporting the implementation of Medicaid Enterprise System modules.

Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between business and IT to ensure alignment of systems with user needs
Analyze business operations and suggest automation opportunities
Elicit, define, and document business processes and rules
Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements and specifications
Facilitate communications between business units and IT teams
Lead cross-functional design sessions and maintain project documentation
Support the implementation and adoption of MES modules
Ensure all projects align with federal and state compliance (MITA, CMS)
Qualification
Required
7+ years in commercial healthcare
6+ years in business rule/process elicitation and documentation
3+ years with Medicaid payer system integration and delivery
3+ years experience with cross-functional project teams
3+ years working with MITA principles
3+ years working with EDI, data structures, and healthcare file formats
Strong communication and documentation skills across all organizational levels
Detail-oriented and comfortable working in structured government environments
Bachelor's in Business, Healthcare, IT, or related field (or equivalent years of experience)
Preferred
Knowledge of CMS Federal Certification processes
MMIS project or operations experience
Project management and stakeholder coordination
