Responsibilities
Define and execute business development strategies for high-priority areas within the Consumer / MAI business but with the ability to flex into areas such as Azure Core, m365, Edge and more
Lead negotiations for the largest and most complex deals, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, finance, legal, and product teams to deliver business outcomes
Identify and develop new business models, ecosystems, and partnerships to accelerate growth
Pioneer initiatives that expand market presence and create long-term value
Manage a team of 4+ business development professionals, providing mentorship and career development
Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Sciences, or related field AND 12+ years relevant work experience (e.g., investment banking, consulting, finance, marketing, corporate strategy, sales, venture capital, legal, business development, product management, project management, software development, or related field) OR equivalent experience
5+ years people management experience
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Sciences, or related field AND 14+ years relevant work experience (e.g., investment banking, consulting, finance, marketing, corporate strategy, sales, venture capital, legal, business development, product management, project management, software development, or related field) OR Master's/Advanced Degree in Business, Sciences, or related field AND 12+ years relevant work experience (e.g., investment banking, consulting, finance, marketing, corporate strategy, sales, venture capital, legal, business development, product management, project management, software development, or related field) OR equivalent experience
10+ years experience in the technology industry or in a related industry OR in a technical role (e.g., IT, Engineering, cloud platforms, digital transformation, capabilities, solutions)
