Set up and maintain UTS (Universal Total Station) for stringless paving operations, specifically Trimble
Basic layout and grade control within the construction of the projects
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

Show up on time ready to work every day
Follow all safety rules and regulations

Perform other related duties as assigned
Be able to communicate with all positions of the workforce
Basic math skills
Ability to work extended hours in a construction environment
Basic problem solving and decision-making skills
Possess a general understanding of daily technological devices (i.e. computer, tablet, phone, etc.)
Lift and carry equipment on uneven terrain when necessary
Be able to work and complete tasks assigned without direct supervision
High school diploma
Experience in the roadbuilding industry, or in a related field, is a plus
The physical abilities of this position require the employee to spend long periods of time on their feet
Lifting requirement of up to 50 pounds
The ability to maneuver throughout a construction site with the necessary equipment to complete tasks
Employee must have reliable transportation to be able to get to job sites and be willing to travel when needed
This is a field construction position and the day-to-day conditions that are associated with that
