Federal Work-Study| Student Assistant, Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs
The University of Houston-Downtown is seeking a reliable student assistant to support daily office operations in the Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs. The role involves web support, social media collaboration, and various administrative duties.

Responsibilities
Supports the Web Specialist in daily web updates using the ModernCampus CMS, correcting problems raised by Site Improve
Collaborates with the Web Specialist to build a robust calendar of social media content
Interacts with senior-level university personnel, students, and general population
Performs administrative duties such as answering phones, greeting guests to the suite, scanning, copying, and helping with events
Runs errands within the university campus buildings
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be a current UHD student (undergraduate or graduate)
Must wear business casual attire
Must be customer service oriented
Must be very professional, well-organized, responsible, and punctual
Must have good verbal/written communication skills
Must possess good computer skills; Knowledge of O365 tools (Teams, MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)
Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher
Must have received a Federal Work-Study Award from the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid
