Responsibilities
Manage the engineering scope, schedule, and budget for greenfield, brownfield and retrofit engineering / design projects
Manage internal and external resources for the delivery of the Datacenter building, power, cooling, telecom, and controls infrastructure to align with Microsoft Corporation datacenter capacity roadmap
Facilitation and delivery of Microsoft’s industry-leading datacenter designs including the development of new technology and advanced concepts from pre-programming through design development, construction, and the turnover to Operations
Design management, technical direction, decision-making and overall leadership for our datacenter architectural / engineering designs
Oversee the delivery of multiple, concurrent, complete Datacenter design solutions aligned with the scopes, schedules, and budgets of the projects
Engage with key MS stakeholder groups within Microsoft as well as outside vendors who specialize in datacenter architecture and engineering

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field AND 4+ years experience in engineering or construction project/program management, OR equivalent experience
2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
Experience in the design of data centers
Technical understanding of mission critical environments
Ability to lead teams of architects and engineers in advanced engineering and operational processes and procedures as they relate to large data center environments
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
