Senior Program Control Analyst (EVM)
AeroVironment (AV) is a global leader in unmanned aircraft systems and tactical missile systems. The Senior Program Control Analyst will be responsible for reviewing contract terms, maintaining project budgets, and preparing financial reports to ensure compliance and support project delivery.

Responsibilities
Review and understand contract terms and conditions (multiple contract types to include T&M, FFP, FFP LOE, CPFF & CPIF) to ensure compliance to financial clauses and deliverable deadlines
Responsible for the set-up and maintenance of billable projects in the accounting system
Prepare required cost and CDRL reporting (e.g. spend plan, 75% cost incurred status reports, MSRs, etc.)
Prepare and maintain budget / forecast models to meet project and AOP requirements
Prepare / implement revenue recognition methodology and monthly variance analysis
Maintenance and tracking of direct material purchases on applicable projects for use in project reporting and stakeholder deliverables
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Minimum 8-12 years of experience in financial planning and analysis in a government contracting and manufacturing environment required
Experience with financial planning & reporting tools
Experience utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM)
Current expertise in: MS Office Suite (Advanced MS Excel required)
Strong planning skills, coupled with strong analytical and execution skills
Able to identify problems and perform real-time resolution by deciding on correct course of action
Able to handle complex assignments using financial and accounting expertise
Able to compile, analyze, interpret, and present complex financial information
Able to function at a high level in a dynamic and challenging environment
Able to communicate with all levels of management and present financial results to Senior leadership
Has effective problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal and communication skills
Able to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of duties
Focuses on teamwork, collaboration and puts the success of the team above one's own interests
Displays strong initiative and drive to accomplish goals and meet company objectives; highly motivated and flexible
Takes ownership and responsibility for current and past work products

Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard
This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under the ITAR and the EAR, or a person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction
