They are seeking a Med Lab Technologist to create an optimal environment for laboratory personnel, assist in implementing and maintaining the Laboratory Information System, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Creates an optimal environment for the Medical Laboratory personnel to provide quality patient care
Serves as Assistant to the Laboratory Information System Manager
Assists in all aspects of implementing and maintaining the Laboratory Information system
Provides the technology, supplies, policies and procedures for quality work
Serves as an interface with administration and clients
Assists the Section Head in assuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements set forth by TMH, TJC and CAP

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory scienceState of Florida technician licenseLaboratory Information System knowledgeQuality patient careCompliance with regulatory requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technician program
State of Florida technician license in microbiology, serology, clinical chemistry, and hematology
