Responsibilities

Optimizes crew member utilization to maximum extent possible that provides complete and legal manning for the dynamic requirements of the global operations control center (GOCC) flight schedule with an emphasis on on-time performance
Records all crew member activities via a crew management system that meets federal aviation administration (FAA) and FedEx crew data and analysis requirements
Identifies requirements for crew-related automated systems
Develops, designs and tests of automated systems
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree/equivalent
Five (5) years related experience in a flight operations environment including two (2) years in crew scheduling
Experience in statistical analysis, modeling, and computer applications
Thorough knowledge of the pilot collective bargaining agreement (CBA) and federal aviation regulations
Computer skills required
Knowledge of accounting, statistics and computerized crew management systems
Ability to work variable shifts and holidays
