Responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of university events, including conferences, open houses, alumni gatherings, and promotional events
Collaborate with vendors, sponsors, and university departments to ensure successful event execution
Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote events, utilizing various channels such as social media, email, and print
Oversee all on-site event activities, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise
Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards
Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success and gather insights for future improvements
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in event planning and marketing, preferably within an educational or non-profit setting
Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Innovative thinker with the ability to develop engaging event concepts and marketing strategies
Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including faculty, staff, and external partners
Associate's degree or equivalent experience
2 years of minimum functional experience
