Watchfire is a company seeking an intern in Mechanical Engineering. The intern will participate in hardware development activities, assist with projects and prototyping, and collaborate with the R&D team.

Responsibilities

Participate in hardware development activities

Assist Mechanical Engineers with projects and prototyping as needed

Help with testing and evaluation of new and existing products

Collaborate closely with R&D team members

Qualification

CAD softwareAutodesk InventorMicrosoft OfficeCommunication skillsIndependent work

Required

Experience with CAD software, preferably Autodesk products (Inventor)

Experience with Microsoft software, Outlook, Word, Excel and Sharepoint

Ability to work independently

Excellent written and communication skills

Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of semester

Able to work up to 40 hours per week during summer session

Must have been enrolled full-time for the current semester, new graduates are still eligible for this position

Legal authorization to work in the US required. We will not consider candidates who need sponsorship, now or in the future, to be legally employed in the US

Student enrolled in Engineering/Technology: Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, ME, MET, EE, EET preferred
