Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership, supervision, and administration of the Psychiatry Residency Program
Recruit, develop, and evaluate program faculty, ensuring clinical, teaching, and scholarly excellence
Recruit, mentor, and evaluate residents, fostering professionalism, ethical practice, and success in board certification
Oversee curriculum development, rotation schedules, clinic operations, and academic programming
Ensure ongoing accreditation compliance with ACGME, state, and institutional requirements
Collaborate with affiliated academic institutions to coordinate medical student and resident education
Lead quality improvement initiatives, research efforts, and faculty development activities
Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and program growth initiatives
Provide direct patient care, serve as an attending physician, and model clinical best practices
Engage in regional and national professional organizations to enhance program reputation
Promote a positive learning environment, high performance standards, and a culture of continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
MD or DO from an accredited institution
Board-certified in Psychiatry
Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of [State]
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in behavioral health, with at least 2 years in a leadership or administrative role
Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, program development, and interdisciplinary team collaboration
