Responsibilities
Scheduling and coordinating on-site and off-site specialist appointments for urgent/senior expedited, routine, and follow-up appointments following the approved authorizations, scheduling, and wait time objectives
Providing clear communication regarding future and past appointments to the PCP and IDT team
Working closely with members of the IDT team to coordinate services and advocate for participants' specialty needs
Collaborating with Center staff/leaders for the coordination of care for the more fragile patient population
Providing guidance and training to the Scheduling Coordinator Level I
Qualification
Required
High School graduate or GED equivalent required
A minimum of three years' experience working in the medical or clinical field required
Medical Assistant Certificate required
Preferred
Experience working with referrals/authorizations and with an Electronic Health System preferred
Served in a lead role and experience leading others preferred
