Target is a leading retail company focused on delivering joy to families through everyday life. They are seeking a Logistics Analyst to support Last Mile carrier relationships, drive improvements in carrier networks, and enhance cost, service, speed, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

Supporting the Last Mile carrier relationships by leading analysis and insight into carrier networks
Identify, execute and drive improvement in how Target leverages carrier networks to improve cost, service, speed and sustainability
Connect with internal relationship owners, vendor partners, technical teams, product teams, partner operational teams, and other various HQ and field teams
Work in ambiguous situations, changing, and executing vital processes in multiple systems

Required

Four-year degree or equivalent experience
2+ years experience operating and executing in complex systems
Strong analytical and reasoning skills
Ability to use SQL and analyze data in Excel
Understanding of, or ability to learn small parcel business
Creative approach to problem solving
Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
Ability to set goals or outcomes and track and communicate progress
Can make decisions with little to no guidance from manager or other leaders
Excellent communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred

Experience in distribution or transportation
Experience with SQL and proficient in Excel
