$80/hr - $120/hrTogetherhood is expanding its network to DC and is seeking passionate sports instructors for K-12 classes. Instructors will create and deliver age-appropriate sports curricula, fostering a love for sports among students.
Responsibilities
Conceive of and create an age-appropriate curriculum for your class
Create memorable experience for the children in your class to help them grow and develop a passion for your sport
Consistently arrive at your class on time (or early!), prepared with the lesson plan for the day
Help children understand why your sport is so wonderful and how it's helped shape you as a person
Qualification
Required
Experience teaching school age children
Ability to conceive of and create an age-appropriate curriculum
Ability to create a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Dependable, proactive, and thrives when given autonomy
Excitement, joy, and passion for teaching kids and personal development/learning
Cooperative, supportive, and flexible
Consistently arrive at class on time (or early) prepared with the lesson plan for the day
Preferred
Relevant teaching experience
Other relevant experience or training if lacking formal teaching experience
