Responsibilities
Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
Lead balance sheet reconciliations and enhance the month-end close process using automation and optimization tools
Daily review of AP transactions in RAMP - all new invoices are uploaded accurately; GL and payment details are updated. Ensure invoices are funneled through the approval process in a timely manner
Prepare and reconcile interest expense entries and support compliance with debt covenants and lender reporting requirements
Support in the preparation of financial statements and monthly reporting package
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations
Support the preparation of tax filings and compliance reports with various agencies
Support external audits by providing documentation and insights to ensure full compliance with GAAP and internal policies
Identify and communicate any discrepancies or unusual transactions to senior accounting staff
Drive improvements in financial reporting processes through automation, standardization, and system enhancements
Qualification
Required
Strong command of U.S. GAAP and ability to clearly explain complex accounting issues
Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, AI-assisted matching) and hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software
Excellent organizational skills with sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience supporting field operations and working in distributed, multi-location environments
Familiarity with close optimization tools and modern financial reporting best practices
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance from an accredited institution
Minimum of 7 years of general ledger accounting experience in a complex, multi-entity organization
Preferred
Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus but not required
Knowledge of RAMP is a plus but not required
CPA, is a plus
