Responsibilities
Design and implement robust end-to-end testing strategies across telecom OSS platforms, including Inventory Management, Service Fulfillment, Service Assurance, and Field Operations
Validate complex workflows involving service activation, provisioning, fault management, and resource allocation
Ensure test coverage across integrated systems such as network elements, and field service tools
Develop test scenarios that simulate real-world telecom operations, including order-to-activate, trouble-to-resolve, and resource-to-service flows
Collaborate with domain experts to ensure alignment with business rules and operational processes
Lead regression, smoke, sanity, and system integration testing across OSS layers and interfaces
Ensure seamless testing of APIs, middleware, and orchestration layers that connect OSS components
Apply in-depth knowledge in Inventory, Service Fulfillment, Service Assurance, or Field Operations to validate business flows and system behavior
Collaborate with domain experts to identify gaps and optimize test scenarios
Lead and mentor a team of testers and automation engineers
Work closely with development, product, and operations teams to ensure quality and timely delivery
Drive continuous improvement in testing practices and processes
Champion automation using tools like Selenium, Postman, JMeter, and telecom-specific simulators
Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, etc
Manage defect triage, root cause analysis, and quality metrics reporting
Ensure compliance with testing standards and telecom regulations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
12-15 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 to 10 years in telecom domain
Strong understanding of telecom architecture and workflows
Hands-on experience with E2E testing frameworks and automation tools
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Certifications in ISTQB, Agile Testing, or Telecom technologies
Experience with cloud-based telecom platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
