Responsibilities
Serve as the technical leader for BMC TSSA architecture, governance, and enterprise automation strategy
Define and enforce enterprise-wide standards for automation, compliance, and security across heterogeneous environments
Lead large-scale modernization initiatives, including platform transformations and integration with cloud and DevOps ecosystems
Provide Tier-3 escalation and strategic guidance for resolving the most complex technical challenges impacting mission-critical systems
Architect advanced automation frameworks and enforce best practices for scalability, resilience, and compliance
Direct enterprise patch management and compliance enforcement strategies to meet DoD and USCG mandates
Influence organizational automation roadmap and ensure seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms
Develop and maintain authoritative documentation for architecture governance, operational standards, and automation frameworks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field with 12+ years (or equivalent expertise)
Clearance: Active Secret clearance
Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+)
BMC TSSA Expertise: 7+ years of hands-on experience with BMC TrueSight Server Automation, including implementation, upgrade, and administration
Scripting: Proficiency in NSH (Network Shell), python, bash, java, and PowerShell scripting for automation and customization
Patch Management: Extensive experience in server patch management for both Windows and Unix/Linux environments using TSSA
Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration
Troubleshooting: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical issues
Preferred
Experience supporting DoD or U.S. Coast Guard environments
Database Knowledge: Familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server databases
Cloud Experience: Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
DevOps and CI/CD: Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD tools
