VHB is currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Project Accountant to join our Regional Finance team. In this role, you will provide critical support in managing the financial aspects of engineering projects, working alongside a team of dedicated professionals across various industries.

Responsibilities

Prepare and process client invoices and contract documents

Maintain client and subconsultant contracts

Assist with project setup and budgeting, including review of contract compensation and billing methods

Maintain accurate project financial records and billing files

Provide internal and external support related to tracking and collection of project accounts receivable

Coordinate with subconsultants and vendors regarding accounts payable

Research and resolve client inquiries related to invoicing

Support the Finance team and Project Managers with additional finance and contract related tasks as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or equivalent field

4+ years of relevant experience (preferably in an Engineering, Architecture or Construction environment)

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

10% travel required for collaboration and business support (our expectation would be a physical office visit for 2 days per quarter or as required by the needs of the business)
