Quality Control Analyst

The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for monitoring the quality of medication adherence packaging, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements, and performing inspections and audits during production.

Responsibilities
Conducting regular checks on all production lines to ensure product quality meets company specifications and quality standards
Verifying that product parameters such as dimensions, consistency, and functionality are maintained throughout production
Documenting findings in detailed reports, including identifying any inconsistencies or deviations from quality standards
Reporting any quality deviations or concerns directly to the department supervisor for review and clarification
Providing clear documentation of findings to support corrective actions initiated by supervisors or process controllers within the production team
Inspecting incoming materials and components, such as labels or third-party suppliers, to ensure they meet required specifications
Reviewing customer returns and complaints, conducting product inspections, and providing detailed reports of findings to support the resolution process
Ensuring all products meet regulatory requirements for packaging of medications (e.g., FDA standards, cGMP guidelines)
Documenting compliance issues and communicating them with supervisors to prevent deviations that could affect product safety or regulatory adherence
Ensuring that inspection processes are carried out in accordance with established quality standards and procedures
The QCA is responsible for identifying quality inconsistencies and reporting them to supervisors for troubleshooting issues or process changes
The ability to adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct, follow Clarest Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance Officer
Qualification
Required
Certification or degree in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or a related field
Familiarity with industry-standard quality regulations and certification processes (e.g., FDA, ISO, cGMP)
Prior experience in quality control or inspection roles within a manufacturing environment, preferably in thermoforming, flexographic conversion, or similar industries
Knowledge of standard inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and measurement systems
Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and integrity of medication packaging, including correct labeling, pill counts, and package sealing
