Responsibilities
Operates and maintains all mission computer systems and ensures all diagnostics are performed
Immediately reports all computer failures or degradation and switches to alternative standby systems
Assists in ensuring all requirements for magnetic media are met
Operates as the MMCO when required
Submits system outage reports to lead or Communications Electronics Manager as required
Supports all Computer System Security requirements
Monitor mission system performance daily
Maintain records, logs, and files
Performs other duties as required
Qualification
Required
High School diploma, technical school graduation, or Associates degree in computer science, computer systems or equivalent education
Basic working knowledge of UNIX computer operating system is recommended
Two years' experience in computer operation and maintenance with LINUX, macOS, BSD, AIX, Solaris, or comparable computer systems is encouraged
CompTIA Security+ certification
Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship
Employment and start date is contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearance
