Responsibilities
Provide administrative oversight and coordination of dental services in close collaboration with the dental providers; ensure compliance with regulations; oversee administrative aspects of radiology, infection control, and inventory; manage digital dentistry services including intraoral scanning, 3D printing, workflow optimization
Maintain infection control and OSHA standards; oversee sterilization and equipment maintenance; manage dental supply and inventory; ensure compliance documentation and staff training
Optimize patient flow and scheduling; collaborate with patient access and revenue cycle teams; improve billing processes; prior authorizations; integrate dental services across all departments to support patient-centered care
Provides administrative supervision for Dentists, Dental Assistants, Hygienists; conduct performance evaluations; assist with hiring and onboarding; promote organizational mission and values
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or dental-related field
Any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities to perform the job duties
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in dental clinic operations
At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a dental setting
Experience with digital dentistry technology and services including intraoral scanning, 3D printing and optimizing workflow
Demonstrated knowledge of dental compliance standards (OSHA, HIPAA, CODA) and infection control protocols
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and dental practice management software
Proven ability to manage budgets, inventory, and staff performance
Preferred
Dental background is strongly preferred (e.g., Certified Dental Assistant, Registered Dental Hygienist)
Current BLS certification
Dental-related certification (CDA, RDH) or licensure preferred
