Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and implement individualized, evidence-based care plans

Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care across the care continuum

Coordinate care through effective interdisciplinary collaboration and communication

Administer medications and treatments according to clinical standards and protocols

Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record

Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and care plans

Participate in performance improvement, quality initiatives, and patient safety activities

Support continuity of care to reduce readmissions and adverse events

Serve as a preceptor or mentor to nursing staff or students as needed

Comply with professional nursing standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements

Qualification

Required

Experience providing direct patient care

Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical judgment skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-centered care skills

Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer skills

Ability to respond calmly and decisively to emergency situations

Strong time management and organizational skills

Knowledge of evidence-based nursing practice and standards of care

Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required

Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):

Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)

BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience

Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment

Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct

Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
