Entry, Mid LevelNext Step Recruitment is seeking an App Growth & Social Marketing Specialist to drive organic growth for their mobile app. The role involves hands-on execution of growth strategies, content creation, and community engagement to build a user base from the ground up.

Responsibilities
Driving app installs and active users through social, UGC, community, and creator partnerships
Personally testing early-stage growth ideas such as ambassador programs, referral loops, challenges, and event-based activations
Owning social channels across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, X, and Reddit
Creating short-form content and UGC prompts that resonate with sports, concerts, and live-event audiences
Identifying and engaging micro-creators, superfans, and niche communities
Developing creator briefs and tracking performance tied to installs, activation, and usage
Monitoring core growth metrics including installs, conversion rate, retention, and engagement
Using lightweight tools such as Firebase, native platform analytics, and spreadsheets to understand what’s working
Iterating quickly by doubling down on what works and stopping what doesn’t
Documenting repeatable wins and helping scale successful tactics over time
Qualification
Required
Have grown an app, product, or community from early stage or zero
Are deeply comfortable with short-form social and UGC-driven growth
Have personally created content and tested growth ideas yourself
Think in terms of installs, activation, and engagement rather than impressions
Enjoy ambiguity and learning by doing
Want ownership, accountability, and the chance to build something lasting
