Responsibilities
Prepare and follow up on customer quotes, manage sales orders, and assist in completing technical forms
Simplify complex technical product information and explain features or benefits to both technical and non-technical audiences
Track customer interactions using Salesforce
Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email, providing solutions and technical information to resolve issues
Work closely with marketing and leadership teams to ensure customer satisfaction and identify new business opportunities
Qualification
Required
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and experience with Oracle and Solidworks
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex concepts and negotiating terms
While a high school diploma is often the minimum requirement
Preferred
A basic understanding of mechanical or electrical equipment for manufacturing (e.g., robots, sensors) is preferred or required
Degrees in technical fields like engineering or computer science are highly beneficial for advancement into 'Inside Sales Engineer' roles
