Responsibilities
Participate in and enable external collaborations within TDD by providing scientific and budgetary support, including for corporate partnerships, philanthropic, licensing, and entrepreneurial opportunities
Develop, maintain, and update tools and approaches for actively managing the scientific, administrative, and financial aspects of the internal and external TDD therapeutics portfolio
Support the development and management of scientific program budgets as well as the overall TDD annual budget
Actively manage and maintain relationships with institutional collaborators to support internal and external portfolio efforts
Act as Alliance and Program Manager on behalf of MDACC for TDD corporate partnerships, working closely with legal, SIV, compliance, finance, regulatory, and other institutional groups to ensure execution of contractual and administrative matters, research plans, financial items, and relevant clinical trial activities
Work with project leadership to ensure that internal and collaboration research and activities align with TDD priorities, needs, goals, and opportunities
Ensure that research, development, and strategic plans for collaboration activities are developed in coordination with partners and executed effectively and efficiently
Support development and review of scientific research plans, presentations, reports, and other documents, including providing strategic guidance to enable execution
Manage the scheduling, develop agendas, and write minutes for internal TDD meetings, meetings with external partners, and other meetings as needed
Assist in TDD competitive intelligence strategy as needed
Manage and update TDD organizational charts and pipeline summaries
Support other TDD administrative activities as needed
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree
Six years in biotechnology/pharmaceutical/academic research or clinical research setting to include three years research program/project management experience
Preferred
PhD
Four years in biotechnology/pharmaceutical/academic research or clinical research setting to include one year of research program/project management experience with preferred degree
