Start in 2026 FallThe Ohio Office of Budget and Management (OBM) is the fiscal backbone of the State of Ohio enterprise. This internship offers hands-on experience in state budgeting, economic and tax policy analysis, and public administration, allowing interns to work alongside budget analysts and contribute to projects that shape Ohio’s fiscal policy.

Conducting economic and tax research to support decision-making
Assisting in the preparation of operating budget guidance for state agencies
Shadowing budget analysts and assisting with day-to-day tasks
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Master's program (or accepted to start in Fall 2026)
Strong writing and analytical skills
Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
Interest in government budgeting and policy
