Responsibilities

Perform daily inspection of equipment and facility for efficiency and safety
Assist the Athletic Director with the creation and distribution of all team information including student-athlete handbook, coaching manual, game schedules, promotional events, and game results
Develop, oversee and update department website
Maintain and keep detailed records of equipment and budget
Manage home event operations of scorer table, game staff, and crowd control
Use Presto sports and Sidearm to maintain accurate statistics including live stats and report statistics to the NJCAA , Region XX and MDJUCO as bylaws require
Produce live video streaming with broadcasters as well as live statistics of home athletic contests
Statistical Archive and informational history of the department
Coordinate social media accounts to reflect desired brand image, including development of press releases and website updates
Responsible for documenting and promoting the signing of recruits, season previews, game recaps and articles highlighting athletes, the athletic department, and/or teams
Develop game rosters, schedules and statistics for use on department website
Report required information to MDJUCO , Region XX, NJCAA outlets
Assist with the development of media guides and game brochures
Recruit, hire, train and schedule event staff and volunteers
Assist coaches with daily operations as needed
Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director
Develop recruiting print materials in collaboration with the Office of Public Relations
Liaise with Admissions department to create recruiting tools for coaches
Develop game day programs and any programs when hosting regional and national events
Coordinate game officials for all home contests
Assist the Director of Athletics with the publicizing of athletic events, through various media outlets

Required

Bachelor's degree
3 years of sports-related proven work experience
Ability to drive college vehicles
Ability to learn new computer skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Regular attendance is a requirement of this job
Ability to write clearly and grammatically
Ability to deal effectively with and represent the College to a broad range of individuals/groups, within and outside the College
Perform all duties while considering the impact of any action on the college's sustainability initiatives in the areas of environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic prosperity

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in a related field
Master's degree in a related field
Knowledge of a broad range of sports
Working knowledge of in-game statistical software applications
Knowledge and experience of website content management (i.e. PrestoSports and/or SideArm) and social media
Demonstrated ability to use Adobe Creative software
Good writing, research and analytical skills
Good marketing and public relations skills
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office software
CPR, First Aid and AED certification (training provided)
