Responsibilities

Leading highly complex data or research tasks

Independently determining the method(s) for completion of new projects (may receive guidance on overall project objectives)

Developing new practices, processes, metrics or models, and providing solutions which may set precedent for the organization

Applying developed subject matter and methodological knowledge and advanced understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects

Providing guidance to research project and project sponsor colleagues

Conveying difficult, complex or sensitive information, and facilitating productive dialogue among project stakeholders

Reviewing work products from subcontractors or junior researchers

Designing and executing linkage strategies for connecting administrative datasets

Required

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required

A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree in a relevant field of study is required

Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen

Preferred

Demonstrated usage of R, SAS, or SQL for data preparation and analysis

R coding experience is preferred

Experience processing and analyzing electronic health record data

Experience in quality improvement or population health research
