Responsibilities

Database Development Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages
Create and optimize SQL queries for application functionality and reporting
Application Integration Collaborate with application teams to integrate SQL databases with .NET/C applications
Develop middleware components and APIs for seamless data exchange
Performance Tuning Conduct query optimization, indexing strategies, and database performance analysis. Implement best practices for database health checks and proactive monitoring
Maintenance & Support Perform database upgrades, patching, and migration activities
Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in production environments
Security & Compliance Ensure compliance with database security standards and implement access controls
Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for database architecture, processes, and procedures

Required

Strong proficiency in SQL Database architecture and PL/SQL programming
Hands-on experience with C/.NET development for database-driven applications
Expertise in performance tuning and query optimization techniques
Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and database design principles
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and SDLC methodologies
