Responsibilities

Designing, implementing, and managing new capabilities and tools for Kubernetes across both data centers and private compute environments, as well as public cloud services
Ensuring the robust and scalable operation of our Kubernetes infrastructure, supporting critical Apple services
Building and managing relationships with a diverse set of internal customers who rely on the platform
Collaborating effectively with cross functional technical and business teams and varying levels of management

Qualification

KubernetesPublic cloud platformsProgramming languagesAPI patternsOpen source projectsCommunicationCollaboration

Required

2+ YOE of strong Kubernetes knowledge
2+ YOE of proficiency with various programming languages such as Go or Java and API patterns using REST/gRPC
Experience with developer tooling and containerization
Experience operating and developing infrastructure and services in public cloud environments
Excellent communications skills, capable of working with cross functional technical and business teams and varying levels of management, in a professional manner
Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent

Preferred

Experience working with open source projects
