Analyze and establish contract requirements with facility and project suppliers
Identify potential suppliers and ensure timely procurement of materials
Develop purchasing procedures to meet internal customer requirements
Assist staff and vendors with ordering and purchasing procedures, available funds, and related inquiries to facilitate the purchasing process
Contact vendors to verify information and respond to inquiries
Distribute purchase orders, vendor information, outstanding order logs, and other reference documents to support the purchasing process
Evaluate purchase requisitions and supporting documents to ensure proper use of company funds for acquiring supplies, equipment, and services
Maintain documents, files, and records to provide up-to-date references and audit trails for compliance
Assess supplier quotations and proposals; process bids, incoming purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and mail
Follow up on open orders and lead times to ensure timely deliveries
Receive, verify for accuracy, and post invoices related to all placed orders
Research contracts, suppliers, equipment, laws, and regulations to recommend purchases and contractual agreements
Develop and enforce policies related to the company's purchasing activities
Comply with and promote workplace safety
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field
