Responsibilities

Assist airframe technicians with structural modifications, repairs, and component installations on various aircraft

Support fabrication and installation of structural components, including fasteners

Remove and install aircraft interior components such as sidewalls, ceiling panels, and cardo bay panels (forward and aft)

Perform removal and replacement of aircraft seat tracks and assist in skin repair and replacement tasks

Support fabrication and repair of airframe parts including shear ties, stringers, floor beams, frames, webs, and bulkheads

Ensure compliance with technical data and safety standards during all maintenance and repair activities

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Must be able to read and comprehend technical direction and documentation

Reads, understands and implements directions of appropriate maintenance manuals to identify and locate associated components on the aircraft

Asks questions as necessary to increase knowledge or skill

Maintains his/her work area in an orderly and clean manner

Records his/her time worked as directed by his/her supervisor
