The Product Development Engineering Summer Intern will work closely with the Product Development team to assist in the design and development of medical devices, including verification and validation processes.

Responsibilities
Work closely with product development engineering team to complete tasks that contribute to the company's goals
Assist in the design and development of innovative solutions
Facilitate design changes to existing products
Participate in the Agile Scrum for product development
Document design inputs to address the intended use of the product
Document the conformance of requirements through design outputs
Partake in design reviews
Assist in design verification protocols in accordance with the proper procedures
Execute design verification protocols and R&D testing data collection and analysis
Assist in design validation protocols in accordance with the proper procedures
Responsible for understanding and following all applicable procedures and product requirements
Ensure cross functional communication is occurring to secure implementation of new designs and changes
All other duties as assigned
Collaborate in creative workshops to achieve the best designs and solutions
Presents accomplishments to Leadership team at the completion of internship
Qualification
Required
Highly motivated self-starter that works well in teams and independently
Student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
Strong organization, problem solving, and communication skills
Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail
Proficient in PC skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Solid Works
