This role plays a critical part in shaping application architecture, mentoring development teams, and delivering secure, scalable, cloud-based solutions using Microsoft and Azure technologies.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy complex .NET applications and services across multiple environments
Architect applications using Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles
Design and build Azure App Services, Function Apps, databases, and ORM-based solutions
Design applications leveraging relational databases, data caching, and enterprise-scale data management
Integrate .NET applications with third-party APIs, databases, and cloud services
Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability
Establish, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
Oversee code reviews, enforce development best practices, and mentor team members
Collaborate with developers, solution architects, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and solution designs
Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority production and development issues
Provide technical leadership in implementing security, compliance, and governance standards
Contribute to architectural decisions, technology selection, and long-term technical planning
Work within an Agile development environment
Create technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams
Qualification
Required
Ten (10) years of overall software development experience
At least five (5) years of application development using the .NET framework and Microsoft technologies
Seven (7) years of combined experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Seven (7) years of experience with one or more front-end frameworks: Angular, React, or Blazor
Three (3) years of experience developing applications in Azure cloud environments
Three (3) years of experience deploying applications using CI/CD pipelines
Bachelor's degree
Preferred
Experience collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical designs
Experience working on hybrid teams in a telework and office-based environment
Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Entity Framework, and performance analysis tools
Three (3) years of experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines that automate build and deployment processes
Hands-on experience with API design, microservices architecture, distributed systems, and Azure Application Performance Monitoring
Seven (7) years of experience writing automated unit tests
Three (3) years of experience with database design and development using SQL Server or Azure SQL
Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in large-scale enterprise projects
