Responsibilities
Craft footwear that fuses worlds, ensuring each design is both visionary and commercially viable
Shape every detail, construction, form, fit, performance, while considering cost, sustainability, and manufacturability
Collaborate with innovative minds, external partners, internal designers, developers, product managers, and engineers
Align visions, refine concepts, and lead conversations that push boundaries
Inspire both teams and communities, championing innovation at every step
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in design or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
Knowledge of form, color, materials, human factors, related to elevating the consumer experience
Ability to translate consumer knowledge and insights into product solutions and narratives
Experience in technical footwear design
Strong Photoshop, Illustrator skills
Must be able to build accurate 2D technical drawings (tech packs)
Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills
Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
Must be able to generate a broad range of concepts and solutions for each project
Experienced with presentation programs: Keynote, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc
Positive personality and energy
Contribute and align to shared team culture and behaviors
Catalyst to make connections with other Design groups
Lead + drive partnerships beyond the Design function (Marketing, Engineering, Development, etc.)
Motivated and hardworking about bringing others along
Preferred
8plus years of experience designing and developing innovative footwear and other products preferred
Cobbling and prototyping skills are a plus
3D design programs experience is a plus
